On May 31st 2016, The Institute for Public Policies (IPP) organized a conference dedicated to initiatives on circular economy and best practices in using waste as resources.
The 2016 edition of the “Green Week” - the largest annual event dedicated to talks and debates on environmental policies, started on Monday (May 30th) and ended on Friday (June 3rd).
On Tuesday (May 31st) ECOTIC, represented by its President, Mr. Valentin Negoiţă, offered an example of best practices within the conference organized by IPP - regarding the CIRCULAR ECONOMY and WASTE AS RESOURCE.
"Waste management is no longer just about sanitation companies or reaching targets, it's about an entire economic flow, investments in the recovery / reuse / recycling of waste to turn them into secondary raw materials," said Mr. Negoita.
