From the beginning of the meeting, both Valentin Negoita and Dragos Calugaru exposed the problems in reaching national targets, especially in the field of WEEE, as well as the measures that need to be taken: the mandatory inclusion of WEEE collection in the public services of local administrations, in a real and visible way - including the measure in the National Waste Management Plan; fighting WEEE leakages in scrap flows and tightening control (enforcement) at all levels: producers, collective schemes, operators, local public administrations.

One of the intensely discussed subjects was the current situation of packaging waste management; both the authorities and the collective schemes had constructive points of view.
