Ateliere Fara Frontiere had recently celebrated five years of existence. The results show that within this period 6,000 computers were donated. The computers helped at the establishment of over 1,000 IT labs. Within these, 140,000 beneficiaries participated in educational projects for training and social reintegration through computer use. This was possible through Assoclic, the donations program, and through other projects. ECOTIC supports and is actively involved in these activities.
“Preparation for reuse” ranks 2 in waste hierarchy, after “prevention “and before” recycling”. ECOTIC is an organization that works in WEEE management, and we encourage this practice.
Insertion workshop and IT equipment donations to disadvantaged communities - Assoclic - are means to address social disparities and increasing the skills of many people in need. We are proud that, through our partnership with AFF, we have contributed to a sustainable development.
