REMATHOLDING and ReduxGmbH: Romanian - German partnership on battery recycling

REMATHOLDING Co Ltd, one of the largest waste management companies in Romanian and Redux GmbH Germany, the largest processing and recycling company of waste batteries and accumulators in Europe concluded Wednesday, April 10, a partnership agreement on recycling these types of wastes. The event was held in the conference room in Hall C4-C5 at Romexpo, at the International Exhibition for Technologies and Equipment for Environmental Protection, ROMENVIROTEC 2013. The event that was held in partnership with the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change marks the official start of a collaboration between two companies with a long tradition in the field of recycling and also confirms yet again that Germany and Romania takes in the direction of development of bilateral relations in terms of environmental protection and modernization of waste management sector.

"Signing this partnership is part of the company's REMATHOLDING strategy to provide solutions to the European standards for the flow of waste batteries and accumulators in accordance with Romania's obligations resulting from Directive 2006/66 / EC and subsequent national legislation," said Mihai Sofian, CEO of REMATHOLDING.

  

Through this agreement, REMATHOLDING and Redux provide their partners with an efficient solution in the collection and recycling of used batteries and accumulators to the highest European standards, using the latest technologies in the field, allowing Romania to reach their targets assumed in accordance with European Directives. The event will be opened by Mr. Horia Irimia, Vice President of NEPA, representative of Ministry of Environment and Climate Change and Mr. Bela-Nikolaus Buzasi - Economic Attaché of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany.
