ECOTIC, ECOTIC BAT and the Recolamp Association, with the support of the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, have started an awareness and recycling action for waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), batteries and accumulators (DBA) and light sources. The action is especially dedicated to students. All the headquarters of the Polytechnic University and 21 student dormitories now have collection containers for this waste.
It is an approach to make students and teachers aware that WEEE, DBA and burnt light sources are waste that are collected separately and recycled accordingly.
In order to make the collection containers displayed as visible as possible, they were placed in faculties and dormitories.
We are always looking for fresh, innovative solutions, in our desire to convince as many people as possible with a simple message: there is a need for collection and recycling, at all levels, at all ages. Our future depends on it, and it's no exaggeration.
