Information regarding the processing of personal data of coordinating teachers within the program "Even the little ones do great things"

The associated controllers of personal data within the Ecoterrienilor School Campaign are the Campaign Organizers, ECOTIC Association, with headquarters in Bucharest, 48 Turturelelor Street, Sector 3 and correspondence headquarters in 108-112 Mihai Eminescu Street, Sector 2, Bucharest, telephone 031 805 57 43, e-mail address office@ecotic.ro, and ECOTIC BAT SRL, with headquarters and correspondence headquarters in Bucharest, 108-112 Mihai Eminescu Street, Sector 2, Bucharest, telephone 031 805 57 43, e-mail address office@ecotic.ro.

For both Organizers, the email address of the data protection officer is dpo@ecotic.ro. By reviewing the Regulations and related documentation, including those presented on the website www.ecotic.ro, as well as by expressing their free will to participate in the Campaign, the Participating teachers/coordinating educators understand the processing conditions and do not object to their personal data obtained by the Organizers according to the Campaign Regulations and the Campaign documentation being processed by them for the following purposes:

  • organization and conduct of the Campaign;
  • the public presentation, popularization and promotion of the Campaign, with the limitation of the images presented to images that do not allow the direct identification of any natural person;
  • making statistical reports, with the anonymization and/or aggregation of data.

We process the mentioned personal data for the fulfillment of the Regulation, with contractual value, or, as the case may be, in accordance with your consent expressed according to the consent form, exclusively for the purpose of running and popularizing the Campaign and identifying the winners of the Campaign. We may process your data in the legitimate interest of promoting and presenting the Campaign, but we will limit to the maximum the data that could identify any of the participants. We will not use your data for any subsequent offer or campaign.

Processing by the Organizers is carried out only within the EU/EEA. If information about the Campaign is posted on social media networks, their rules apply, as independent data controllers. However, please note that the Organizers will not post names of individuals, contact details of individuals, and the images will meet the conditions imposed, under penalty of de-scoring or disqualification, for providing images, i.e.: photos and/or video recordings limited to illustrating the conduct of the Campaign, respecting the rule of not showing the faces of minors or other adults and/or in general only by using images/recordings that do not allow the unique identification of any person. Otherwise, the Organizers reserve the right to blur/delete the respective pictures and remove them from the Campaign as a way to protect the rights of the data subjects regarding this data. The personal data collected in the Campaign will be kept until July 1, 2026, after which they will be destroyed electronically (data deletion), unless in the meantime you expressly consent through a form sent by the Organizers to your data being retained for future communication related to Si cei mici fac fette brai (announcement regarding the launch of the project, announcement regarding the possibility of entering the contest, etc.) and other projects of interest (afforestation, Clean Environment Awards Gala). The personal data processed in connection with the collection of the collected waste (name, surname, educational unit represented) are kept for a period of 5 years from the reception of the collection order, in order to resolve the request for the collection of WEEE and DBA, as well as for the purpose of proving its implementation after its completion, since the environmental authorities check the manner in which electrical and electronic equipment waste is collected, according to the legislation in force (for example, Order 578/2006), and ECOTIC is obliged to present evidence regarding the source and traceability of collected waste. You have the right to request from us, with regard to personal data concerning you, access to it, rectification or erasure or restriction of processing or the right to object to processing, as well as the right to data portability. You also have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time. Unfortunately, in such a case you will no longer be able to participate in the Project, given that we would not be able to identify you and contact you to carry out the activities within the Project. You can exercise any of these rights by contacting the data protection officer within ECOTIC and ECOTIC BAT at dpo@ecotic.ro. If you consider that the legislation in force regarding the protection of personal data is not complied with in this processing, you have the right to file a complaint with the National Supervisory Authority for the Processing of Personal Data (www.dataprotection.ro).
