GreenWEEE Buzau, ECOTIC, with the support of Buzau Cityhall and Environment Protection Agency Buzau started the campaign “Join us for a cleaner environment!”.
Between October 22 and November 21- 2014, the citizens of Buzau are expected to hand over the WEEE (waste of electrical and electronic equipment) at the municipal collection points situated in Buzau.
For each WEEE handed that has over 15 kg, each participant is rewarded with an instant prize, namely a modern and elegant umbrella.
The program aims to inform and raise awareness of the population regarding the importance of separate waste collection and recycling. The main objective is the encouragement of a responsible attitude of the population towards waste, especially waste from electrical and electronic equipment.
