ECOTIC launches new campaigns for the collection of electrical and electronic waste, in partnership with local authorities in Prahovene localities.
This year too, electrical and electronic waste forgotten in homes, garages or closets has the chance to receive a new life. During the June 15 - July 3, ECOTIC, together with BIN GO, ADI Prahova and the town halls of the participating localities, organizes new campaigns for the collection of electrical and electronic waste (including light bulbs and neon lights), under the umbrella of "Orase Curate (Clean Cities)" and "Comune Curate (Clean Villages)", in several localities in Prahova CountyIn the municipality Ploiesti, the campaign will take place during June 29 – July 3, 2026.
Residents are invited to join this effort for a clean environment by handing over defective or unused electrical and electronic equipment for recycling.
The campaign is a direct invitation to the Prahova community to responsibly dispose of obsolete appliances that take up space in homes and to give them a new chance through recycling, instead of leaving them abandoned in households.
To facilitate this process, ECOTIC and local partners develop accessible and efficient collection solutions, bringing collection services as close as possible to citizens.

Reward for involvement
To encourage responsible behavior, the organizers offer an instant prize (within the limit of available stock) to participants who hand over 10 kg of electrical waste in the collection campaigns announced by the City Hall.
