"We try to bring the concept of separate collection of recyclable waste among as many cities as possible, this time in Voluntari. Through these campaigns we encourage the inhabitants of these areas to selectively hand over recyclable waste, especially waste electrical and electronic equipment, and, implicitly, to protect the environment, ”says Lucia Nan, Head of Public Relations Office, Ecovol.
"Clean Cities" is the ECOTIC campaign that pursues this goal in the urban environment. Together with public and local authorities, ECOTIC has informed and continues to inform residents of dozens of cities across the country on the need to collect WEEE, providing specialized collection points.
In 2018, ECOTIC carried out 53 collection and awareness campaigns, which informed over 320.000 people.
