“We had the pleasure of collaborating with our partner ECOTIC in a project to collect air conditioning equipment, which included a buy-back campaign. As part of this campaign, end customers were able to benefit from a discount on the purchase of a new, much more energy-efficient air conditioner. The only condition for receiving the discount was to hand over the old device, regardless of its brand, to the partner from whom they purchased the Daikin equipment. This project reflects our commitment to a circular economy and care for the environment, contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions.
The collaboration with ECOTIC has been extremely productive, and the market response has been very positive. Our customers have appreciated the opportunity to dispose of old equipment responsibly and benefit from significant discounts on the purchase of new equipment.
The positive impact of this project on the environment was significant. By collecting and recycling old air conditioning equipment, we contributed to reducing electronic waste and conserving natural resources. We also reduced greenhouse gas emissions by replacing old, energy-inefficient equipment with new, energy-efficient models.
