A new edition of the traditional event of the ECOTIC Organization - "Green Policies in Companies - Environmental performance and cost reductions in your company!", Took place on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at the Intercontinental Hotel Bucharest, Rapsodia Hall.

During the event, topics related to sustainability and environmental protection were addressed, with an important impact on the financial performance of companies.

Non-financial reporting, energy consumption and losses, the obligation to recycle waste are important issues that were discussed at the conference, along with topics related to eco-innovation in companies, reuse and resource efficiency.

In the first part of the event, presentations were made by Raul Pop, Senior Manager, Climate Change and Sustainability Services, Ernst & Young (“Financial relevance of environmental obligations”), Aida Szilagyi, President of the National Center for Sustainable Consumption Production (“Eco-innovation as successful recipe for companies ”), Patrick Ouriaghli, Director of Partnerships and Workshop Programs Without Borders (“ How to streamline company resources ”).

The second part of the conference brought to the fore the inspiration of companies that have implemented "green policies", becoming responsible for the environment.

Romstal told us about the company's energy policy, Green Group offered us smart solutions for selective collection, Let's Do It Romania gave us a lesson in Urban Mining, IKEA Romania brought examples of good practices in the field of sustainability, Tryamm brought about the monitoring and reduction of energy costs in the printing process and Penny Market raised the issue of sustainable development.
