The media has an essential role in building a sustainable society, and each article, podcast or report dedicated to environmental protection represents a concrete step in this direction.", Said Valentin Negoiță, President of ECOTIC.

"UZPR welcomes the involvement of journalists in issues that concern the common future of society. Raising environmental awareness through journalistic means is a civic and professional duty, and this contest offers a framework for affirming those professionals who put ethics and responsibility first.", added Dan Constantin, President of UZPR.
