The Iași Municipal Collection Center (CMCI) is the first universal municipal waste collection center for private households. Two years after its launch, a new campaign is launched to encourage people from Iași to hand over waste correctly for recycling, by launching a loyalty program and organizing a raffle with attractive prizes. The campaign starts on April 5, 2018.
The Iași Municipal Collection Center (CMCI) opened its doors in March 2016. The project is the result of a partnership between the ECOTIC Organization, Iași City Hall, SALUBRIS SA and Recolamp. CMCI is a European solution for clean and ecological cities, where the population can easily hand over, either by car or on foot, all types of waste that can be generated at home: electrical and used batteries, plastic, paper, glass, old clothes, old furniture or non-functional.
Basically, CMCI is a modern, well-thought-out solution, made with European know-how, meant to give a civilized and environmentally friendly direction to the environment of recyclable waste that would otherwise end up in the landfill.
In order to further encourage the residents of Iași to collect separately and participate in the recycling process, the Center launches, starting with April 5, 2018, a loyalty program designed to increase the frequency of site visits for each citizen. Thus, the Iași Municipal Collection Center will have a loyalty card, which will be nominal and will be offered to those who bring waste in Stradela Grădinari no. 26.
For every four visits, the people of Iași will receive an umbrella as a gift, and the first 100 participants in the campaign will be entered in a raffle with attractive prizes: 10 ticket cards worth 200 lei.
