October 14 marks the annual International Day for the Recycling of Electrical Waste initiated by WEEE Forum
ECOTIC Caravan, the mobile museum of electrical waste, will be available for visits between October 13 and 17 in the parking lot of the Coresi mall. They are expected, in sanitary conditions, especially the little ones to see various types of electrical and electronic equipment, disassembled, in order to highlight the recyclable and hazardous content, along with other useful information on the importance of recycling and recovery of raw materials. The “ECOTIC Caravan” project has been designated by the European Commission as the Best Environment LIFE Project within GREEN WEEK 2018.
Also, ECO Civic Center together with ECOTIC and Brașov City Hall organizes a campaign to collect electrical waste during the period October 16-17, 2021.
The citizens of Brașov will have at their disposal:
- FREE pick-up from home between 11 and 31 October 2021

- Calea București - at Someș Park
- Old Center - Str. Avram Iancu the intersection with Str. The Roman Church
- Civic Center - near Sergiana Center
- Craiter - Str. Harmanului, Lidl intersection
- Beech - Str. December 13, near the RAT / Carrefour station
- Florilor - Bd. Alexandru Vlahuță, in front of ITC
- Griviței no. 47 - next to the playground
- Post Office Orchard - in the parking lot, near the County Library
- Metrom - Str. Carpathians 60, Metrom precinct, Eco Civica Center warehouse
- Noua - Str. Plum no. 9, near the RAT station
- Prund - Unirii Square, near Troita
- Răcădău - Rose Park, near Magnolia
- Tractorul - at Tractorul Square, the entrance from Str. Olteţ
- Stupini - Str. Barsei, in the RAT station
A TOMBOL will be organized only for waste handed over at collection points, and Awards that will be offered are:

4 x DRYER PAR
4 x TOOL KIT
The draw will take place on Sunday, October 17, 2021, at 18:00, in the parking lot of the Coresi mall, at the ECOTIC Caravan.
