dedicated to the environment directly on the competition website, www.premiilepentrumedicurat.ro
"Clean Environment Awards Gala" is the contest of the ECOTIC Association, organized at national level and dedicated to the initiatives of environmental protection and conservation of the planet's resources. The contest has four categories, being invited to enter companies, educational institutions, public institutions and NGOs that have developed, since October 2016, projects dedicated to the environment. The essential condition is that these projects are at a sufficiently advanced stage to present results, even intermediate ones.
On October 2, 2017, the registration for the contest starts. Registrations can be made on www.premiilepentrummediucurat.ro by accessing the online registration form, available at https://www.premiilepentrumediucurat.ro/inregistreaza-proiect/.
"We invite that every year the organizations that carry out environmental protection projects and CSR to enter them in the 2017 edition of the Awards Gala for a Clean Environment contest. The stake of the ECOTIC initiative is to popularize and reward the projects with the greatest impact on the communities they address." Valentin Negoiță - President of ECOTIC.
The winners in the Companies category within the 2016 edition are those from Studio Plot with the TUBATECT project. Adrian Ibric, Chief Designer, told us what this award means for his project: "The award was an extraordinary surprise for us, in the sense that, although we are proud and attached to the TUBATECT project, the fact that it has a very positive impact on the environment, we are aware that we do not promote it enough and we could not scale so far to have an increased effect, outside our community of designers, architects and our close clients. Consequently, winning the competition, which we have been pursuing since previous years, we consider a new turning point in the development of this initiative and the opening of the project to new groups of potential users and promoters of recycled objects. Equally, we see the award not only a certification of the effort, not only an image upgrade but also an impulse to continue accountability, ours and those around".
The deadline for project registration is November 24, 2017. The projects will be evaluated by a specialized jury and the prizes for the four categories of competition will be awarded in December, during the festive event "Awards Gala for a Clean Environment".
The contest is organized with the support of the Ministry of Environment, Info Cons, Cărturești, The Diplomat - Bucharest, CCIFER, Hotnews, ROGBC, Let's do it Romania, Junior Achievement Romania and Image Factory.
