In period April 15-17 a series of events took place in Prague under the organization WEEE Forum, the pan-European organization whose members collected and recycled in about 2012 1,9 million tons of WEEE.
In addition to the annual WEEE Forum, the International Conference was held Take back 2013, which analyzed the trends on the WEEE market, highlighting mainly the stake of recovering primary and secondary material resources in the next decade.
An important moment represented him setting up the WEEELABEX organization by 26 founding associations, including ECOTIC Romania, which consecrates the completion of the project carried out in the period 2009-2012 and co-financed by the European Community and WEEE Forum.
WEEELABEX quality standards define the technical and operational requirements for operators in the field of transport, treatment, preparation for re-use and processing of WEEE, as well as the criteria for monitoring the flow of WEEE, depollution and reporting.
