The little ambassadors of the environment

On December 17, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MMSC), in collaboration with ECOTIC, organized a meeting in which the former and current Minister of Environment - Attila Korodi and, respectively, Gratiela Gavrilescu met with "Little Ambassadors of the environment ”- honorary title received last year by the students of the 3rd A class from the“ Mihai Botez ”Gymnasium School from Sector XNUMX of the Capital.

On this occasion, the small environmental ambassadors were engaged in various ecological activities, the most appreciated of which was the one called "Learning to recycle", when the children - under the close supervision of ECOTIC representatives and Mrs. Elisabeta Dragostin, teacher for primary education and teacher Georgiana Hurmuz - they decomposed used equipment - waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), from the resulting pieces she made beautiful ornaments for the winter tree.

The meeting and all the activities carried out were part of the extensive process of ecological education that MMSC permanently carries out among the young generation, and the little ecologists left as a gift, under the winter tree of MMSC, a Santa Claus and two snowmen, all three works made from recyclable materials.

The efforts of the little ecologists were rewarded with interesting gifts from ECOTIC. For a clean environment!
