PRIZE campaigns for electrical waste collection
In August and September, ECOTIC, together with its partners, organize waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) collection campaigns in 5 cities and 77 communes in Prahova County.
Between August 1 and September 27, 2022, ECOTIC, ADI Prahova, Rosal Prahova, the town halls of the municipalities and cities participating in the campaign, APM Prahova and the Prahova National Environmental Guard are organizing the Clean Towns and Clean Towns brand campaigns throughout the county.
They offer solutions within reach of the general public, the inhabitants of these cities having at their disposal:
- FREE download from home of bulky waste (minimum 50 kg electrical waste/refrigerator/washing machine etc.), by dialing the number 0244 933.
- Handing over to the dedicated collection point at the Town Hall headquarters in each city/municipality.
To encourage the collection-recycling initiative, the organizers offer PRIZES. Thus, each person who will hand in electrical and electronic waste of at least 5 kg will receive an instant prize, those who will hand in at least 16 kg of WEEE will receive two instant prizes, and those who will hand in waste of at least 26 kg will receive a instant prize and will be automatically entered into the prize draw.
