ECOTIC Caravan, the ECOTIC information and awareness vehicle, is present between October 4 and 7 in Brașov, in order to draw attention to the importance of separate collection of WEEE and to urge the people of Brașov to hand over used equipment for recycling.
We are starting the "Brașov Recycle" campaign, together with our partners, out of the desire to raise awareness among the people of Brasov on the importance of separate waste collection and to encourage them to hand over waste electrical and electronic equipment at specially arranged collection points. We believe that these awareness-raising activities and the provision of collection solutions contribute significantly to the promotion of a new attitude, responsible for the environment in which we live, ”says Valentin Negoita, President of ECOTIC.
ECOTIC in partnership with Eco Civica Center and Brașov City Hall, organizes, between October 4 and 7, an information and waste collection campaign for electrical and electronic equipment. Thus, the people of Brasov will have at their disposal 14 collection points, to which is added the ECOTIC Caravan, to which they will be able to bring and hand over for recycling waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).

The schedule of collection points is between 10:00 and 17:00.

To encourage the correct delivery for recycling of used electricity and electronics, each resident who will bring WEEE collection points will be automatically entered in the raffle, having the opportunity to win one of the following prizes: tool kit, mixer, coffee maker, iron iron, vacuum cleaner or microwave.
For picking up automatic washing machines or refrigerators and refrigerators at home, every citizen will receive gift vouchers.
An important presence is the ECOTIC Caravan, located in the center of the city, which will definitely attract many visitors. Caravan, a mobile exhibition featuring 10 types of electrical and electronic equipment disassembled in order to highlight recyclable content, along with other useful information on the importance of recycling and recovery of raw materials, has been designated by the European Commission as Best Environment LIFE Project within GREEN WEEK 2018.
