On December 11, 2017, "Clean Cities", the national ECOTIC campaign dedicated to the collection of used electricity and electronics in urban areas, starts simultaneously in Adjud and Fălticeni. The campaign will encourage residents to come and hand over used electrical and electronic equipment to local collection centers.
The ECOTIC organization, in partnership with local authorities and sanitation companies, continues the "Clean Cities" campaign. After passing through 22 cities (Botoșani, Filiași, Târgu Mureș, Dorohoi, Brăila, Piatra Neamț, Galați, Bragadiru, Motru, Rădăuți, Timișoara, Ploiești, Cluj-Napoca, Iași, Vaslui, Comănești, Baia de Arieș, Otopeni , Borșa, Vişeu de Sus, Giurgiu and Cluj-Napoca), starting with December 11, 2017, residents of two other cities in Romania - Adjud and Fălticeni, will be informed and encouraged to become aware of the issue of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE ) and the need to hand them over correctly for recycling. The campaign takes place between 11 and 16 December 2017.
Thus, during the campaign, any resident of the two cities who will hand over a waste of at least 5kg accumulated at the local collection points, will receive an instant prize.
The campaigns in Adjud and Fălticeni continue, in 2017, the national program “Clean Cities”, an itinerant program of the ECOTIC Organization, dedicated to WEEE collection in the urban environment.
