The XNUMXth edition of the Clean Environment Awards Gala has announced its winners

ECOTIC ends 2015 with the already traditional Clean Environment Awards Gala, a well-deserved moment of balance for all those involved, along with the organization, in actions dedicated to a clean environment: waste collection, cultivating civic spirit and changing mindsets. It was an event full of the excitement and joy of the work done; there were people on stage who brought with them the enthusiasm that should not be missing in any endeavor related to our future.

During the seven editions, the number of registered projects and interested organizations increased visibly. At this edition, 87 projects were entered, most of them in an edition so far. Dedicated to recycling, greening, nature care or awareness, all the submitted projects have shown that the civic spirit and pro-environmental attitude can be cultivated and encouraged to be put, in the end, in the service of the community.

ECOTIC congratulates all the judged initiatives and is pleased to announce the winners of the four categories of the Clean Environment Awards Gala:

Grand Prize for Public Institutions: Agency for Environmental Protection Prahova

Winning project: Ecological education competition project for Prahova students “THINK GREEN, THINK CLEAN!” ”

Public Institution Award

Grand Prize for NGOs: Greenitiative Association

Winning project: Platform "Green schools - advocacy, eco education and support for sustainable schools"

NGO Award

Grand Prize for Educational Institutions: Gymnasium School Nr. 1 Bistrita

Winning project: "ECOefficient"

School Award

 

Grand Prize for Companies: PROCREDIT BANK SA

Winning project: "ProEco CREDIT"

Companies Award

The jury of the 2015 Gala consisted of: Raluca Ouriaghli - Workshops Without Borders, Iulia Sirgher - InfoCons, Raluca Costache - Green Report, Simona R. Marcusohn - Ministry of Environment, Waters and Forests, Adina Magsi - Alucro, Dragoș Călugăru - ECOTIC.

"We are glad that the number and diversity of projects entered in the competition Clean Environment Awards Gala grow from year to year. This implicitly indicates that Romanians are becoming increasingly concerned with ensuring a healthy environment and development based on a sustainable way of life." stated Valentin Negoiță - President of ECOTIC.

ECOTIC thanks all participants and partners for their involvement in an event that celebrates, on the eve of the holidays, the care and responsibility for what, in the end, makes everything possible: the environment.
