At the end of the competition, the amount collected by 6269 kg DEEE ended up in a collector's landfill, going into the correct recycling stream. ECOTIC, together with ADIS Iași and the Iași Environmental Protection Agency, evaluated the activities and results of the participants in the competition and announced the winners.
These are Victoria City Hall, Salubris Iași and Ciurea City Hall.
The judging criteria were:
- setting up and operating an WEEE collection point;
- organization and implementation of a mobile WEEE collection campaign from the population;
- waste collection of electrical and electronic equipment.
He stood out for his inventiveness Victoria Primary who decided to motivate the population through a unique mechanism: those who handed over more than 10 kg of WEEE benefit from a trip (Piatra Neamt - Red Lake for children and for adults - Manastirilot areas in Suceava).
