tal, launches a collection campaign and subsequently donates IT equipment. The campaign will take place during May 10 - July 30, 2017 and is addressed to all entities wishing to hand over IT equipment.
One of the basic principles of a sustainable society is reuse. In the IT sector, there is a great potential for reorienting equipment - laptops, central units and monitors - from companies that periodically renew their equipment, to beneficiaries who have more difficult access to such equipment, but who need digitization solutions to facilitates access to education.
In this sense, on May 10, 2017, ECOTIC launches a campaign to collect IT equipment, a campaign addressed to all entities wishing to hand over such equipment. The online registration form is available here.
All laptops, units and monitors collected will go on the reconditioning flow of ECOTIC partners and will later be donated, nationally, to schools that do not currently have such equipment.
The campaign will work in three simple steps:
- First of all, the companies that will register in the campaign will receive the necessary documents to take out of the management the equipment they will donate.
- In step two, the donated equipment will be reconditioned in the correct conditions.
- In step three, the equipment ready for reuse will be donated where it is most needed.
