For three days, WEEE Forum President Jose Ramon Carbajosa was the ECOTIC guest.
On September 9, 10 and 11, the agenda of the President of WEEE Forum, Jose Ramon Carbajosa included a visit to the ECOTIC headquarters, working visits organized at the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, the Romanian Parliament, but also a meeting with the members of the Organization ECOTIC. At the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change he was welcomed by representatives of the Ministry, where together with the ECOTIC management were discussed the situation of WEEE management in Romania, the transposition of the New WEEE Directive in the legislation of EU member states (calendar, options, etc.), and the implementation of quality standard. The visit represented a new exchange of experience, the in-depth understanding of the environmental legislation applied at the level of the European Union as well as the recognition of the leading position of ECOTIC in the electrical and electronic waste management system in Romania.
