WEEE Forum has elected a new Board of Directors

Every four years, the WEEE Forum General Assembly elects its members to the Board of Directors. The new Board was elected at the online session on 29 May 2020.

Brussels-based WEEE Forum is an international non-profit organization of 40 organizations taking responsibility for manufacturers of electrical and electronic equipment around the world and was founded in 2002.

The organization is governed by a Board, and decisions are ratified by the General Assembly. The board consists of people from the management teams of WEEE Forum members who have expertise in the segment of waste electrical and electronic equipment.

For the next four years, Joe Attard will be on the WEEE Forum board (WEEE Malta), Heidi Luck (SENS eRecycling, Switzerland), Valentin Negoiță (ECOTIC Romania), Pedro Nazareth (Electron, Portugal), Nathalie Yserd (ecosystem, France), Andreu Vilà (Ecotic, Spain) and Jan Vlak (Wecycle, The Netherlands) who was re-elected President of the Organization.

Since 2005, Valentin Negoiță has played an active role in the implementation of WEEE legislation in Romania, and since 2016 he has been a member of the Board of Directors of the WEEE Forum.
