On the occasion of the World Environment Day, ECOTIC organized on June 5, the Day of Open Doors for WEEE Recycling, an event dedicated to manufacturers and importers of electrical and electronic equipment affiliated to ECOTIC.
The event materialized in a visit to Rematholding, where those present had the opportunity to follow in detail the entire process of recycling waste electrical and electronic equipment. They also had the opportunity to see how Remat Bucuresti Sud transforms other waste into materials with economic value (plastic, paper, tires, cables, cars, etc.).
In this way, ECOTIC brought closer to the present public the concrete aspects of the collection and recycling of WEEE and other waste.
Among the guests were Ionut Musetoiu, Adviser in the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, representatives of companies that handed over the responsibility of WEEE management to ECOTIC (Romtelecom, real, -hypermarket, UTI Group, Vlamir, RHS Company, Romsys), but also representatives you have the media.
World Environment Day is one of the main ways in which the United Nations promotes worldwide the awareness of the importance of human involvement in environmental protection and the improvement of methods to act in its favor.
