ECOTIC and Hotnews.ro organized the fourth edition of the contest "I want a cleaner Romania!" under the auspices of the Ministry of Environment and Forests and the National Environmental Guard. The contest took place between March 14 and May 20, 2011.
As in previous editions, the general public was invited on the specially dedicated platform - hosted by Hotnews.ro - to post images, photo reports and videos suggestive of the proposed theme: Selectively collect waste electrical and electronic equipment and win! The contest was addressed to all those concerned with the protection of the environment and the adoption of a new attitude towards the ecosystem in which we live.
In addition to the well-known sections - photo, video and photo report - this year's edition of the contest "I want a cleaner Romania!" came up with a novelty - a new section dedicated especially to collectors of electrical appliances. In the section "Electrical appliances" the contest participants were able to post photos accompanied by the story of old appliances, which over time have become real collectibles and occupy a special place in the lives and homes of participants. The winners of this contest were announced at that time on the website dedicated to the campaign. Thanks to all participants.
