“Schimba deseurile cu tehnologia Samsung” in sectorul 6, la final

In Sector 6 of the Bucharest Capital, they exchanged waste electrical and electronic equipment with Samsung technology.

Samsung Romania together with ECOTIC, SC Urban SA and the City Hall of Sector 6 Bucharest carried out in September, in sector 6 of the Capital, the campaign "Change waste with Samsung technology".

The draw for the winners of the campaign took place at the headquarters of the City Hall of Sector 6 of the Capital, in the presence of Mayor Rares Serban Manescu and the organizers of this project, on October 3.

"Change waste with Samsung technology" is in its second edition, the first taking place in Sector 2 of the Capital, between March and April, 2012. In this first edition were awarded by Samsung all consumers who have disposed of used equipment , with two vouchers: one for a discount of up to 20% on selected products and the second for participating in a raffle with Samsung home appliances as prizes. Over 5 tons of waste electrical and electronic equipment were collected.

In Sector 6, the project had principles similar to those in Sector 2: people who handed over waste electrical and electronic equipment immediately received an instant prize, a discount voucher of up to 30% for a Samsung washing machine. or for another Samsung product participating in the promotion. All those who entered the contest automatically entered the raffle at the end of the campaign, in which the winners of this edition were designated. The prizes in this campaign were offered by Samsung Romania: 8 weekly prizes, 2 for each of the four weeks of the competition, and at the end, the Grand Prize, a Samsung refrigerator.

To collect the prizes, the winners are asked to present themselves with the winning voucher for validation, at the Samsung Plaza headquarters, 7 Iuliu Maniu Boulevard, Bucharest. In this edition were collected over 7.000 kg of waste electrical and electronic equipment, involving over 450 people, over 60 new equipment being purchased based on the vouchers offered, these vouchers being valid until the end of November this year.

During the campaign, 4 mobile collection points operated. These were located in four main areas of Sector 6:

1. Moghioros Park, during 03/09.09.2012/XNUMX;
2. Military Bus Station, between 10-16.09.2012;
3. Crangasi Square, between 17-23.09.2012;
4. Regie area, near the former bread factory: between 24-30.09.2012.
