de | February. 19, 2013 | campaign

Between February and April, 2013, the XNUMXth edition of the educational caravan through a film with an ecological message, Guerilla Verde, took place.

Young people from six cities in the country - Bacau, Ploiesti, Iasi, Focsani, Buzau and Bucharest - now have the opportunity to more easily collect used batteries and aluminum cans, namely in the schools where they study.

The objective of this edition was to implement the selective battery collection program with the help of the ECOTIC and ECOTIC BAT Association and aluminum cans, through the EveryCanCounts campaign carried out in Romania by the Non-Profit Alucro Association, in as many educational institutions in the country. Also, the local authorities showed their support for this initiative by implementing the programs within their own institutions, in order to set a good example.

The Alucro Association and the ECOTIC Association, through ECOTIC BAT, offer free of charge the logistical support necessary for the development of these programs. It consists in making available to those interested boxes specially designed for the selective collection of aluminum cans and batteries, but also in taking them over by authorized partners when the boxes are filled. Also, information materials were distributed by the organizers (brochures, flyers, posters).
