Between 8 to 31 October 2012, in rural areas in Iasi county was organized a campaign to collect electrical and electronic waste (WEEE) from the population. The campaign, organized by ECOTIC and Recycling Ecorec Bacau in partnership with the Environmental Protection Agency Iasi, aimed at increasing the involvement and awareness of local government and rural population in the county in selective collection of these wastes in view of their recovery and recycling circuit. The County involvement were selectively collected over 8 tons of WEEE.
