The United Nations University - Institute for Advanced Sustainability Research (UNU), together with ECOTIC, with the financial support of Norway Grants, conducted the study "Quantification of WEEE Generated in Romania".
The study is based on a methodology developed by UNU and on a market survey conducted by GFK in June-July 2015 on a nationally representative sample of 1688 respondents.
The objective of the study was to highlight the reality of Romania regarding the quantities of WEEE Generated and where they end up, information that will be useful to the authorities in elaborating strategies in waste management.
