The collection point is located at the Călinești commune City Hall (schedule 10:00 - 17:00).

The inhabitants of Călinești commune benefit from free service for picking up large and bulky WEEE from home, by calling 0747493722. Collection at home will be done in compliance with health and safety requirements.

"Such a campaign has a very important role, especially in rural areas, as these areas often lack information on separate collection, and thus collection points. Basically, the Clean Common campaign brings information and collection points to people's doors. ” says Oana Fulgheci, Head of the monitoring office of the Teleorman Intercommunity Development Association Waste Management.

"Clean Communes" Călinești is part of the national information campaign "Be in your country as well as abroad", organized by ECOTIC in partnership with the Ministry of Environment, Waters and Forests. Its purpose is to contribute to the awareness of the Romanian public regarding the correct behavior towards a type of waste: WEEE - waste electrical and electronic equipment.

Through it, ECOTIC aims to promote good practices in the European Union and to inform the Romanian public on separate collection solutions for electrical and electronic waste available to all: electronics and home appliances stores, municipal collection points and campaigns on which ECOTIC carries out regularly, in urban and rural areas.
