Clean Cities, ECOTIC itinerant campaign, dedicated to coleof used electrical and electronic equipment in urban areas, develops a new component dedicated to rural areas - CLEAN COMMON. Following the same type of approach and mechanism, the campaign will oftenshift during 14 - 18 May 2018 in partnership with the ADIS Association, APM Iași and ECOREC Recycling in Miroslava
As it is known, Romania has the obligation to reach a target d45% collection of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). In this context, ECOTIC continues its efforts to raise awareness among the population in order to hand over WEEE to specialized collection points.
Thus, starting with April 2018, the traditional campaign of ECOTIC, "Clean cities", a campaign that aims to raise awarenessre in the urban environment, has developed a component dedicated to the rural environment, under the namesbad of CLEAN COMMON. Together with local public and environmental authorities, ECOTIC informed residents of communes and rural areas from all over the country on the need to collect WEEE and provided collection points where this waste can be brought and handed over for recycling.
The campaign continues in Miroslava commune, Iași county, with the support of the Ministry of Environment, ADIS Iași, Miroslava Commune City Hall, APM Iași and ECOREC RECYCLING. Between 14 - 18 May 2018, residents of Miroslava are encouraged to properly hand over waste for electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) for recycling.
Thus, during the campaign, any resident of Miroslava who will hand over a waste of at least 5kg accumulated at specially arranged collection points, will receive an instant prize.
The collection point is in the courtyard of the City Hall, the green container (program 08: 00 - 16:00).
