The ECOTIC "Clean Cities" campaign reaches Topoloveni

November of this year brings to the public's attention the collection campaigns that will take place throughout the country.

 

Between November 11 and 15, 2019, ECOTIC in partnership with the Association „Together

It is possible ”and CNIPT Topoloveni, encourages the citizens of Topoloveni to hand over correctly for recycling waste electrical and electronic equipment and waste batteries and accumulators.

Collection center:

  • Topoloveni National Center for Tourist Information and Promotion, with schedule from Monday to Friday between 10:00 - 16:00

 For the delivery of waste electrical and electronic equipment of at least 5kg cumulated, but also for 16 used batteries, cumulated, participants receive an instant prize, within the available stock.

Romania, as an EU member state, has the obligation to reach a target of 45% collection of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) by 2020. In this regard, ECOTIC continues its efforts to raise awareness among the population.

"Clean environment is our priority, which is why we are informing citizens with the right way to dispose of waste electrical and electronic equipment and waste batteries and accumulators and make them available for collection points." declares Cristina Boboc, specialized inspector.

 

"Clean Cities" is the ECOTIC campaign that pursues this goal in the urban environment. Together with public and local authorities, ECOTIC has informed and continues to inform residents of dozens of cities across the country on the need to collect WEEE, providing specialized collection points.

In 2018, ECOTIC carried out 53 collection and awareness campaigns, which informed over 320.000 people.
