On October 16, 2017, "Clean Cities", the national ECOTIC campaign dedicated to the collection of used electricity and electronics in urban areas, starts in Borsa. The campaign will encourage residents to come and properly deliver used electrical and electronic equipment to the local collection point.
ECOTIC, in partnership with Borșa City Hall and Borșa Public Utilities Service, continues the "Clean Cities" campaign. After passing through Botoșani, Filiași, Târgu Mureș, Dorohoi, Brăila, Piatra Neamț, Galați, Bragadiru, Motru Rădăuți, Timișoara, Ploești, Cluj-Napoca, Iași, Vaslui, Comănești and Baia de Arieș, between October 16-20, 2017, inhabitant from Borșa will be informed and encouraged to become aware of the problem of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and the need to hand it over correctly for recycling.
Thus, during the campaign, any resident of Borșa who will hand over a waste of at least 5 kg accumulated at the collection point located on Str. Lazuci no. 5 (town hall garages), will receive an instant prize.
The operating schedule of the collection point in Borșa is daily, between 8.00 - 16.00.
The campaign in Borșa continues, in 2017, the national program “Clean Cities”, an itinerant program of the ECOTIC Organization, dedicated to the collection of WEEE in the urban environment.
