On September 25, 2017, "Clean Cities", the national ECOTIC campaign dedicated to the collection of used electricity and electronics in urban areas, starts in Timisoara. The campaign will encourage residents to come and hand over used electrical and electronic equipment to local collection centers.
The ECOTIC organization, in partnership with RETIM Ecologic Service, continues the "Clean Cities" campaign. After passing through Botoșani, Filiași, Târgu Mureș, Dorohoi, Brăila, Piatra Neamț, Galați, Bragadiru, Motru and Rădăuți, between September 25 and 29, 2017, the inhabitants of Timișoara will be informed and encouraged to become aware of the problem of waste electrical equipment and (WEEE) and the need to properly hand them over for recycling.
Thus, during the campaign, any resident of Timișoara who will hand over a waste of at least 5kg accumulated at the collection points located in Str. Astrilor no. 13, Calea Șagului no. 147 / G, Calea Moșniței no. 2 and Aleea Avram Imbroane no. 70, will receive an instant prize.
The operating schedule of the collection points in Timișoara is from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 - 15:00, except for the temporary collection point in Str. Stars whose schedule is 09:00 - 17:00.
The campaign in Timișoara continues, in 2017, the national program “Clean Cities”, an itinerant program of the ECOTIC Organization, dedicated to WEEE collection in the urban environment.
