ECOTIC participated in CIRCULAR 2, a landmark conference on the circular economy that took place on Tuesday, April 12, at Willbrook Platinum.
The most important environmental officials in Romania and representatives of the European authorities met in the "CIRCULAR 2", of which we mention Minister of Environment, Waters and Forests, Cristiana Paşca-Palmer; AFM President Jakab Istvan; Associate Director Zero Waste Europe, Mariel Vilella; the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Environment, Waters and Forests, Corina Lupu; the mayor of Târgu Lăpuș (the first “zero waste” city in Romania).
Participants in the event had the opportunity to ask questions to central and local public authorities and to find answers to burning questions related to the challenges of the transition to a circular economy, but also to the national waste management system.
