On June 17, Ateliere Fara Frontiere organized the debate included in the project "Re: Dialogues - industrial relations and social dialogue" where aspects on the role of social enterprises in social dialogue and active citizenship were discussed.
The project aims to develop a consultative guide for the European Commission on the role that the social economy in general can play, and social inclusion enterprises in particular, in the social dialogue, both at Member State and European level.
7 European partners in the field of social insertion enterprises from Belgium, Italy, France, Spain, Austria, Great Britain and Romania are involved in this project. Also part of the European Network of Social Industrial Enterprises, the European Institute for the Development of the Social Economy and the Center for Social Economy of the University of Liege.
Today were present representatives of the above mentioned entities, but also representatives of the ALPFA, CCIFER, ARIES and ECOTIC Cartel.
During the debate, participants tried to answer questions about the role of trade unions, the role of social enterprises in social dialogue, discussing models of participation and social dialogue in Europe and participatory management as a new form of social dialogue.
