Friday, March 22 was a special day for the ECOTIC Association: representatives of member companies and the ECOTIC team participated in the seventh edition of the afforestation action.
The action this spring, which was attended by 200 people, took place in the commune of IL Caragiale, Dambovita County and enjoyed the support of the Bucsani Forest District.
He provided over 1500 oak and ash seedlings, marked the perimeter for afforestation and gave a welcome training to the participants in the action.
It was "a special forestry event with ecological and educational character" said Mrs. Adina Prodan, Responsible for Forest Regeneration and Spokesperson of the Dâmbovița Forestry Department, present at the event.
The action is part of the month of tree planting organized by the National Directorate of Forests - Romsilva and celebrates the International Day of Forests, which took place on March 21 and which this year focused on the theme of forest and education.
