Starting with October 28, 2021, ECOTIC and ECOTIC BAT launch the fourth edition of the Ecoterreni School campaign addressed to schools and the next generation of responsible citizens.

The campaign, which will take place during October 28, 2021 - June 15, 2022, aims to make students aware of the importance of environmental protection and the separate collection of electrical, electronic waste, light sources and batteries.

Starting with October 28, 2021, ECOTIC and ECOTIC BAT invite schools to participate in the new national campaign to raise awareness and collect electrical equipment and used batteries. It focuses on 2 main directions: awareness, in which the participating schools will implement ecological education activities and the collection of waste electrical and electronic equipment, light bulbs and neons and waste batteries and accumulators.

What kind of schools can enroll?

Primary and / or secondary schools are invited to enroll between October 28 and November 19, 2021. Registration can be done by accessing the dedicated form here

The schools in the campaign will receive a set of eco-information and education materials and a set of containers in which they will be able to collect waste electrical and electronic equipment, lighting fixtures and waste batteries and accumulators. The activities will take place simultaneously with the lessons learned in class, and can be done online or face to face, depending on the context in which the school is located.

Each school that will carry out the lessons and practical activities will receive a gift voucher. Schools that will collect electrical and electronic waste or battery waste will also receive gift vouchers depending on the amount collected.

“Through the Ecoterrienilor School project, we want to contribute to the environmental education of the young generation. The campaign's activities are designed to bring current issues to the attention of students, such as pollution, global warming and climate change, but also the importance of separate collection of all waste and, in particular, electrical and electronic waste and batteries. "Says Valentin Negoiță, president of ECOTIC.
