Between September 19-20, 2013, the Seminar dedicated to the efficient use of resources and, respectively, the WEEE Forum General Assembly took place. 
The seminar participants discussed the development opportunities of priority projects in the period 2014-2020, such as: standards for the recovery of critical raw materials from WEEE, traceability and monitoring of WEEE flows, identification of future sources of waste generation, and maximizing collection and WEEE recycling.
An ongoing project is "Counteracting Illegal Trade in WEEE", initiated by Interpol, in which WEEE Forum is a partner.
The management of WEEE Forum established that the next General Assembly will be organized by ECOTIC in Bucharest, between May 15-16, 2014.
