Between October 24 and November 3, 2016, the Iași Municipal Collection Center (CMCI) organized a new campaign to encourage residents of Iasi to properly hand over their household waste for recycling, by organizing a raffle with attractive prizes. Over a hundred people responded to the urges of the organizers and handed over various types of waste at the open center in Stradela Grădinari no.26 in Iași. The Iași Municipal Collection Center (CMCI) opened its doors in March 2016. The project is the result of a partnership between the ECOTIC Organization, Iași City Hall and SALUBRIS SA. CMCI is a European solution for a clean and ecological city. At CMCI, the population can easily hand over, either by car or on foot, all types of waste that can be generated at home: plastic, paper, glass, old clothes, old or non-functional furniture, broken electrical, and even construction waste.

In order to further encourage the people of Iași to collectively collect and participate in the recycling process, a new raffle was organized at CMCI. Thus, anyone who taught at the Center in Stradela Grădinari no. 26, Iași, at least one waste, according to the regulations, between October 24 and November 3, 2016, was automatically entered in a raffle with attractive prizes. At the end of the campaign, 107 people visited the Center and correctly handed over several types of waste for recycling.
