On Monday, September 29.09.2014, 4, the conference organized within the Regions for Recycling - RXNUMXR project took place, attended by members of the Ilfov County Council, the Ilfov Environmental Protection Agency, the Bucharest Ilfov Intercommunity Development Association (ADIBI), the ECOTIC Association, as well as representatives of the mayoralties from Ilfov county and representatives of the MONBAT group.
The R4R Regions for Recycling project is a 3-year European project between 2012 and 2014, bringing together 13 partners from France, Belgium, Denmark, Portugal, Greece, Romania, Ireland, Austria, Bulgaria and Croatia. . All partners shared their experience on municipal waste recycling. This project aims to improve recycling performance through an exchange of good practices. An online tool was developed within the project (https://services.ovam.be/r4r/) which allows any local and regional authority in the EU to compare its data with those from other regions and to identify relevant tools that could help to optimize recycling performance.
