As every year, June 05 is World Environment Day. This year, the Ministry of Environment, Waters and Forests took a very good opportunity to combine the holiday dedicated to the environment with a series of actions organized in Herastrau Park, actions designed to instill correct and environmentally friendly attitudes of all participants, large and small. ECOTIC joined this approach.
The Maid of Culture from Herastrau Park hosted on June 2 an event organized by the Ministry of Environment, Waters and Forests on the occasion of World Environment Day. The event was supported by ECOTIC and brought together a series of actions that were as many fun and friendly opportunities to raise awareness on topics related to the environment and its protection.
The ECOTIC caravan was present at Roaba de Cultura, again providing clear and much needed information on how to properly collect and recycle waste electrical and electronic equipment, batteries and accumulators.
The caravan was accompanied by Ecoterrian, our little big friend that especially the little ones are starting to know better and better! It's not hard either, thinking about how green, fluffy and heartless it is. The ecoterrian did his job brilliantly among the little ones, managing to attract them in discussions about the environment, about forests and fresh air, about the importance of these things and their role in maintaining and improving them.
We enjoyed the presence of Minister Gabriela Gavrilescu and we took with us the energy of a day full of achievements. For a clean environment!
