During October 24 - November 3, 2016, the Municipal Collection Center of Iasi (CMCI) organized a new campaign dedicated to encouraging the citizens of Iasi to correctly hand over household waste, by organizing a raffle with attractive prizes. Over a hundred citizens answered the organizers' call and handed over many types of waste at the collection center located in 26, Gradinari St. in Iasi. CMCI opened its gates in March 2016. The project is the result of a partnership between ECOTIC, Iasi City Hall and SALUBRIS SA. CMCI is a European solution for a clean and ecologic city. At the center, the population can easily hand over, by car or by foot, all types of waste that can be generated at home: plastic, paper, glass, old clothes, old furniture, and broken electrical and electronic equipment, even construction waste .

To give a new boost to selective collection of waste and encourage people to take part in the recycling process, a new raffle was organized at the center. Thus, anyone who handed over at least one piece of waste, according to regulations, during October 24 - November 3 2016, was automatically registered for a raffle with attractive prizes. At the end of the campaign, 107 people visited the center and handed over many types of waste.
