ECOTIC and its partners gave the green light to online entries for the 7th edition of the For a Clean Environment! - Awards Gala, an annual event that awards environmental initiatives or CSR actions with concrete goals and high impact in protecting the environment and saving the planet's resources. Any company, public institution, NGO and institution of education are invited to register their “green” project, until November 25th, on www.galapremiilorpentrumediu.eu.
Starting with 2009, the Clean Environment Awards Gala has been an annual event organized by ECOTIC and its partners, under the patronage of the Ministry of the Environment, Waters and Forests; its objective is the popularization of initiatives, campaigns and projects that build on Romania's eco-responsibility. There is a lot of heart, will and involvement in this domain in Romania; a lot of companies, institutions and NGOs put a lot of work in amazing initiatives that involve a lot of people and cause positive changes. The role of the Gala is to put the spotlight on this type of initiatives, to bring them to the front and give them the merit they deserve.
Entries for the Gala's 7th edition can be registered between July 1st - November 25th 2015, on the website www.galapremiilorpentrumediu.eu, for the four categories: companies, public institutions, NGOs and educational institutions. Entries are open for any project that was started beginning with October 2014, whether finalized or still ongoing on November 25th 2015, the last day of registration. The prizes will be awarded in December, at the annual Gala ceremony.
Last year, ECOTIC and its partners had the joy of receiving over 60 entries for the contest; wonderful projects that contributed in a positive way to environmental protection or saving our country resources. Therefore we want to encourage you to stand alongside brave and dear participants from the past editions: MaiMultVerde, Vodafone Romania, DHL, Rompetrol, ViitorPlus, Apa Nova, Romtelecom and many others.
The partners of this year’s Gala are ECOTIC BAT, APDETIC - IT&C Producers and Distributors Association, Alucro, Every Can Counts Romania. The project is organized under the patronage of the Ministry of the Environment, Waters and Forests.
This year, the For a Clean Environment Awards Gala is part of ECOTIC's Caravan project, which aims at raising awareness on the importance of waste collection and recycling; the project was co-financed by the European Union through the Life + program.
