Under the slogan "Two countries, one goal, common success!", The Recolamp Romania and Electro-Coord Hungary Associations, specialized in light source waste management, launched on July 19, 2011, in Timisoara, the Hungarian cross-border cooperation project. Romania - Program 2007-2013: "Reducing pollution with toxic substances by improving the management of waste light sources in the counties on the border between Hungary and Romania".
ECOTIC joined the project and positioned at all the actions organized in Romania a specially arranged tent, near the Recolamp showroom, for informing the population about the selective collection, as well as for the effective collection of WEEE.
In 2011, ECOTIC participated in this project in the following localities: Lugoj (between 05 - 10.08), Sannicolau Mare, (between 24-30.08), Arad (between 13-18.09), Ineu (between 30.09-05.10 ).
