November of this year brings to the public's attention which collection campaigns 
will take place throughout the country. "Clean Cities", the ECOTIC itinerant campaign, dedicated to the collection of used electrical and electronic equipment in urban areas, is also taking place in Rădăuți.
Between November 18 and 29, 2019, ECOTIC in partnership with the City Hall of Rădăuți and SC Servicii Comunale Rădăuți, encourages the citizens of Rădăuți to hand over waste for electrical and electronic equipment correctly for recycling.
Collection center:
- 1 Mai Street, no. 4-6, Rădăuți, with hours from Monday to Friday between 08:00 - 15:00
For the delivery of waste electrical and electronic equipment between 10 - 35 kg cumulative, participants receive a gift voucher worth 10 lei, and for over 35 kg of cumulative waste, they will receive a gift voucher worth 20 lei.
To collect bulky equipment from home, citizens can call the phone numbers: 0230.563.495 or 0230.563.496. A team of SC Servicii Comunale Rădăuți will travel on Friday, November 29.11.2019, XNUMX and will collect the WEEE from home.
Romania, as an EU member state, has the obligation to reach a target of 45% collection of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) by 2020. In this regard, ECOTIC continues its efforts to raise awareness among the population.
"Through the current campaign we want to inform and raise awareness of the Radauti public on the importance of selective collection. We encourage the people of Radauti to hand over waste electrical and electronic equipment correctly, we provide them with a viable and convenient collection solution, hoping that this behavior will be taken over in terms of collecting other types of waste "says Sorin Zvolinski, from Radauti Communal Services.
"Clean Cities" is the ECOTIC campaign that pursues this goal in the urban environment. Together with public and local authorities, ECOTIC has informed and continues to inform residents of dozens of cities across the country on the need to collect WEEE, providing specialized collection points.
In 2018, ECOTIC carried out 53 collection and awareness campaigns, which informed over 320.000 people.
