Business and Trade Center "Mircea Cancicov" from Bacau held on June 4 the conference "Global Challenges - Local approaches: recycling & resource saving". The event was dedicated to World Environment Day and is part of the manifestation "Make a Progress, Do Circular Economy", registered in this year's calendar edition of "Green Week" under the patronage of the European Commission. Organizers were The Business and Exhibition Center, Bacau and the Environmental Protection Agency, Bacau. ECOTIC participated in this event which was attended by representatives from local environmental authorities and representatives of local companies and institutions.
The event aimed to raise awareness about the objectives that will be undertaken by Member States between 2014 - 2020, including the environmental targets. 2014 edition of Green Week proposes as theme recycling and saving resources (Circular Economy).
