The event was hosted by Expo Arad 15-17 October 2014, the Organizer being the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of the County of Arad.
Reached at the 12th edition, the participants at the event had access to a wide range of products and services presented at the exhibition stands and within the conference organized by the major European leaders, associations, Romanian and international research centers and universities, and representatives of governmental and local institutions.
In the three days of the event it were held international conferences which have enjoyed a real success among all the participants. Protection of water, air and soil, recovery, recycling and how sorting of waste leads to conservation of Biodiversity were the themes of the Conference. ECOTIC was represented by Valentin Tofana, regional and technical expert who presented the latest study carried out by ECOTIC and GBD Research, which is called “Attitudes and habits relating to waste electrical and
electronic equipment (WEEE) recycling ”.
The poll was carried out within the project LIFE13INF/RO/000090, hereinafter referred to as ” ECOTIC Caravan “, co-financed project by the European Union through the Life + programme.
